This course is specifically intended for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and other health care professionals who manage patients with diabetes.

Learning Objective
At the end of this activity, the attendees should be able to:

Identify that AAPI groups are at high risk for type 2 diabetes and the ADA recommends screening Asian Americans at BMI ≥23 kg/m2. 
Discuss the heterogeneity in diabetes outcomes among different AAPI groups.
Identify the groups at highest risk of CVD outcomes and other microvascular outcomes.
