This course is specifically designed for the interprofessional health care providers on the diabetes care management team. This includes physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, certified diabetes educators, and other health care professionals.

At the end of this activity, the attendees should be able to:

- Discuss the difference between PK and PD, and how the old and new insulins differ from each other with both of these
- Describe how to convert from glargine to degludec and from degludec to insulin pump therapy
